Detailed Description
The wooden image of God Ram carved in Namaskar mudra standing on
the lotus pedestal, carved on single piece of wood. Image is
holding a bow, flower garland, crown and abhamandal on his head.
Shri Ramchandra puts on a circular crown made in three tiers,
armlets and bracelets. Up hold face bear staring eyes and long
mustaches rarely found in the Northern Indian sculptural art.
Typical cloth worn as lower garment (adhovastra) tied on the waist
by Kamarband. The cloth of the image has been painted with
different colors. On the top of the image is carved an eagle as a
vehicle of lord Vishnu in flying posture.
