Raza born at Barbaria village in MP in 1922. He received formal art from Nagpur school of art and JJ School of Art, Mumbai. Later he shifted France.

Brief Description

The mid-career works of Raza had been influenced by mandala that is Indian philosophy and tantric form. Raza came in contact with the Progressive Artists group which had a goal to create its idiom of modern art in India, until he left for Paris in 1950.
